How to Play Pinata Wins: Rules, Bets and First Spin

Checked 22 October 2026 · PG Soft · RTP 96.76%

How to play Pinata Wins starts with checking the reels, paylines and bet controls before you spin. This guide explains the 5x3 grid, how line wins are calculated, how to set your bet, and what cascades do. Follow the steps from opening the game to your first spin, or practise with virtual credits in the demo before playing on a gaming platform.

How to play Pinata Wins: from opening the game to your first spin

Pinata Wins is a PG Soft slot with a 5-reel, 3-row grid and 20 fixed paylines. Use this sequence to get familiar with the controls before starting a round.

  1. Open the game. Launch Pinata Wins from a gaming platform, or choose the Pinata Wins demo to practise with virtual credits. The public demo loads without registration or a deposit. Its bet range and currency indicator can differ from real-money versions.
  2. Check the screen. Find the reels, spin button, bet options and menu. The game runs in portrait on mobile. The logo and artwork spell the title “Piñata Wins”.
  3. Review the rules. Open the menu and select Game Rules to read how the game works. Select Paytable to check symbol values and features before choosing a bet.
  4. Set your bet. Open Bet Options and select a bet size and a bet level from 1 to 10. Check the displayed total bet before you continue.
  5. Make your first spin. Press the spin button once. The reels stop, any winning lines are evaluated, and winning symbols may be removed for a cascade. A round can continue through further cascade rounds until no new winning combination appears.

The game guide covers the basic controls. The same menu also contains History, which you can use to review previous rounds and their recorded outcomes. A past result does not predict the next spin.

Pinata Wins paylines and line wins

The game has 20 fixed paylines. Wins are paid from left to right, starting on the leftmost reel. A line must form a qualifying symbol combination across the reels in that direction. Only the highest win on each individual line is paid; separate winning lines can contribute to the round’s total win.

How the line calculation works

Use this calculation for a line win:

Paytable value × bet size × bet level

The total bet is calculated separately:

20 × bet size × bet level

For a simple example, suppose the selected bet size is 1 unit and the bet level is 1. Five Skulls on a line have a paytable value of 1,000, so the line calculation is 1,000 × 1 × 1 = 1,000 units. The total bet is 20 × 1 × 1 = 20 units. The line win is therefore 50 times the total bet, before any multipliers. These units are only for explaining the maths; they are not a currency or a suggested bet.

Pinata Wins paytable values

The values below are for three, four or five matching symbols, in that order. Each value is multiplied by bet size and bet level when calculating a line win.

Symbol 3 matching 4 matching 5 matching
Skull 50 250 1,000
Sombrero 20 100 400
Maracas 15 50 200
Taco 10 40 150
Chili 5 20 100
A, K, Q or J 2 10 50

These are paytable values, not fixed payouts. The full paytable guide explains how to read symbol values alongside the line rules.

Pinata Wins bet options: bet size, bet level and total bet

The bet controls have three related terms. Bet size and bet level determine the value used in the line-win calculation. The total bet also accounts for all 20 fixed paylines. Bet level can be selected from 1 to 10; the available bet-size choices are shown in the game’s Bet Options menu.

Before spinning, check the total bet displayed by the game rather than assuming that the selected bet size is the whole amount for a round. Changing either bet size or level changes the total bet and the line-win calculation. The menu’s Paytable and Game Rules are useful references if you want to confirm a symbol value or game mechanic. See Pinata Wins features for more on the game’s special symbols and bonus play.

Spin, turbo, auto spin and cascades

Press Spin to play one round. Turbo changes the pace of play, while Auto Spin starts a series of spins using the game’s available controls. Check the on-screen settings before starting auto play, and stop it if you no longer want it to continue. Faster play does not change the game’s odds.

When a win occurs, the winning symbols are removed and new symbols drop into the grid. The game checks the new grid for another winning combination. This process repeats until no new win appears. These are cascades: they take place within the round rather than counting as separate manual spins.

Aelia is the Wild and substitutes for all symbols except the Scatter. The piñata is the Scatter: three Scatters trigger 15 free spins, and each additional Scatter adds two free spins. Free spins can be retriggered. Gold Framed Symbols appear only on reels 2, 3 and 4; they are never Wilds or Scatters. If a Gold Framed Symbol is part of a win, it becomes a Wild after the cascade for the next cascade round. Multipliers from x2 up to x100 can appear and are collected and added together. In the base game, the collected total multiplies that spin’s win; in free spins, collected multipliers accumulate until the feature ends and apply to a spin’s total win if at least one multiplier was collected during that spin.

Practise in the demo and understand the rules

The PG Soft public demo uses virtual credits and can be opened without registration or a deposit. It is a practical way to learn where the controls are, see how cascades work and practise reading the paytable without treating demo results as a forecast. The demo’s bet range and currency indicator may differ from a real-money game.

Pinata Wins has an RTP of 96.76% and medium volatility. RTP is a long-run theoretical figure, not a promise for an individual session. Each spin is independent: a time of day, a sequence of results or a playing technique does not change the odds. For real-money play, the game is offered through gaming platforms; accounts and transactions are handled by the platform, not PG Soft or this guide. Pinata Wins appears in PAGCOR’s list of approved PG Soft electronic games, but that approval does not cover every website displaying the game.
